Neoliberalism is failing and we need real leadership or else the populist charlatans will decide our future.

we need to change our voting system

So disappointed that these parties (particularly NDP and Liberal) would rather field candidates in ridings like Parry-Sound Muskoka, who have very little funding and support and are probably there just to fill a spot so they can say they ran a full slate, than actually co operate so they can be more involved and have much more influence in governing. I am so disappointed to see the amount of vote splitting that still occurred despite all these grassroots effort to prevent it.

I am appalled at these parties for putting ego before province. I was never a fan of Bonnie so hopefully she gets tossed out, but I did have higher hopes of Marit. If we don’t want a Conservative government for decades to come, these people had better get their heads out of their asses.

Splitting of the progressive vote is enabling Doug Ford and his candidates to win their third majority government.  He has been bad for social services in our province and bad in dealing with our Climate Crisis.

Ranked ballot voting would be my preference.  We need to eliminate unpopular leaders getting elected because they benefit from the split caused by the other parties.

Really peeved that just like the last time, a very few votes separated the Con and the Liberal. We voted Liberal for years to keep Ford out which is most important right now.

Need Ford out after this .  Housing and medical care for all should be the priority.

We need to work together to stop the kleptocratic kakistocracy that is currently in power and ruining Ontario.

To control Doug Ford

Disgusted that the NDP and Libs put party over the urgent needs of everyday Ontarians. Gross display of self-interest at the expense of our beautiful province and neediest citizens. The toll of another four years will be almost unbearable for many. Thanks for all you tried to do. This letter is an excellent expression of my feelings today. To a Ford-free future (eventually). Be well.

I am very frustrated with the way the PC's are manipulating our democratic system and the failure of the NDP and Liberals to co-operate even in the face of the blatant abuse of power by Ford and his supporters.

I agree with the letter--the Greens, Liberals and NDP need to collaborate in order to defeat Ford and the PCs.  I am so disappointed by their self-centered, short sighted approach.

Parties leaders need to lead by example and work together instead of trying to secure their pensions through a career in politics.

The political landscape has changed dramatically in the last few years. The progressive parties must counter this scourge with unity and good will and with the needs of the citizens of Ontario always in the fore

The need to protect our public services and advance climate action depends on uniting against Doug Ford and the PCs.

SO angry that that scum Ford got in .. again .. and that our electoral system & partisan party politics of his ‘opposition’ - let him win.

Extremely angry at NDP and Liberal parties for saying they hate Doug Ford and yet not doing the one meaningful thing to defeat him.

Abysmal health care, education and funding for Toronto homeless issues.

Everything that was stated in your open letter!!

This movement is as close as we can get to some sort of proportional representation.

Split votes suck, and a unified left is what we deserve.

Frustration with the NDP and Liberals, who ultimately care more about their party than the state of the province.

We need change in Ontario

Tired of Doug Ford and his regime of bobbleheads always winning because they are good at lying, cover ups and corruption

"I'm so gutted that as we watch our province get dismantled with actual material harms to the people, the opposition  leaders are more focused on retauning their own individual power rather than come together to defeat this hellscape as one united group. If the the US can run amok and 'break all the things' without fear of any consequence, why can't we for the good of the province?

We are a slow boiling pot with political leaders fighting for their own asses as Ontarians suffer."

They knew better. Every single one of the NDP Greens Liberal strategists & advisors knew about France. None of them could convince their ossified dinosaur leaders to take a different approach to this election, the election which enables Ford to fully privatize health care, funnel more money into mafia development companies in Ontario, Canada & around the world, and continue dismantling education. The only way to solve problems (personal professional planetary) is to look at the world differently, then do something different. Bonnie Crombie, Marit Stiles & Mike Schreiner failed every single person in Ontario.

I am extremely frustrated with this Ford win and tired of Ontario falling apart because the Left leaning parties refuse to work together. The Conservatives have brought a lot of Canadians over to their side over these last several years and I am even MORE afraid of a Conservative PM. You need to work together!

The PCs, regardless of leader, will never give priority to nature and the natural environment over short-term profits. They will continue to work against the necessary transition to a green economy and clean energy. They will run down health and education in favour of useless egotistical big projects. These are messages the public understands and cares about but they don't understand the differences among progressive parties. Unity is mandatory to overcome the false messages of the PCs, not attacking each other.

I’m deeply disappointed by the election results and want to see a change to our electoral process, ideally proportional representation. I want Doug Ford out for good.

Doug Ford is a bad deal for Ontario, and our party political system is clearly broken. We need further unity in our country as we face new threats in our changing world.

The left needs to find common ground to unite to defeat the conservatives in the next election.

People over Politics!

"We need electoral reform BADLY.  We currently do not live in a democracy.  Personally, this last election was the angriest I've ever been.  I was forced to vote strategically for a party that I do not currently support.  I'm sick of this horrible system; where every vote that did not go towards the winning candidate, literally does not count towards ANYTHING.

Ford's conservatives are by far the most corrupt government Ontario has seen in my lifetime.  It's not even close, and yet, every scandal is quietly whisked away by the colluding media, who cover for this corrupt asshat.

We need change, we true proportional representation, where voters are not disenfranchised, not left apathetic and angry because their voices aren't heard.

Fuck Doug Ford and his corruption, and fuck the rest of y'all for not doing everything in your power to stop him."

Something's got to give.

"My riding lost to the PC because of vote splitting - the NDP and Greens only had over a thousand votes each and that would have been enough to make the Liberal candidate win.

This was a high stakes election for Ontarians who are already feeling the impact of high cost of housing, the gutted healthcare and educational system, and Ford's sham projects.

This was another chance to vote him out. Instead he was given another majority and Crombie, Stiles, and Schreiner will be watching from the sidelines, delivering speeches, and empty platitudes.

The Liberal MPP in my riding was not an ideal candidate nor was the NDP candidate. I didn't even know we had a Green candidate until early voting - that's how poor the campaign was. It's as though they weren't even trying.

Real leaders choose the people.

They should have put Ontarians before their own political ambitions.

They need to get their shit together now, I shudder at the thought of a Conservative federal and provincial government."

We've got to stop splitting the progressive vote! More cooperation, please!

I am tired of right conservative devalue human rights

We need to fight for post secondary education, especially at Rural Colleges. These colleges are on the brink of collapse.

Vote splitting cost Windsor-Tecumseh and Essex progressive seats. Lisa Gretzky won Windsor West against in part due to their being no liberal candidate. A 23-year-old liberal took over 6000 votes that could have went to Gemma in Windsor-Tecumseh and reduced Ford to a minority. Enough is enough.

Frustration that Ford has 4 more years to ruin our province because leaders who knew they could not beat the Conservatives alone decided to work alone. Egos have cost us all.

I am tired of the bickering between the parties on the Left. These leaders are not practical or strategic. There is no consensus building. We are left with a gov in power with majority status that has received less than half of the popular vote. Just stupid.

"The reactionary impact of the Opposition parties, and the need for Coalition or Co-operation.

Keep up the great work."

Completely fed up.

Better for the parties to cooperate and get a larger number of opposition representatives than keep splitting the votes cast by the public. The Conservatives will only keep winning and ruining the province and or country. Thanks for all of your efforts and hard work on this project.

Utterly appalled and distressed that Ford has another majority for another four years. Ontario has lost so much under Ford. Health and education continue to suffer and be defunded. We lost our cultural centres in exchange for a for profit foreign owned waterpark. The Greenbelt. It’s all just so horrifying and demoralizing.

I want a better future for my children and grandchildren.

Absolutely support a cooperative approach as the only way to shut down the PC majority

Ford is destroying my grandchildren's future.

I'm absolutely crushed by another Doug Ford majority. It's extremely frustrating to watch a minority of Ontarians hand him another four years because the left couldn't come together at such an important time.

The NDP, Liberals and Greens all bring good ideas to the table. I have voted for all 3 parties in the past. There is one party I really want out and that is the Conservative Party. Please work together next time to unseat Conservatives!!

Tired of Doug Ford ruining our province and quality of life for his own selfish agenda.

First past the post doesn’t allow for real choice

I liked your work during the prov. campaign.  While I live in Davenport, I worked in York South-Weston in hope of taking that back for NDP

"I don’t care if I vote NDP or OLp provincially

I recognized early that NDP just wants opposition and that’s not good enough. I’m sick of watching ppl die, facing homelessness and watching ford destroy Ontario inch by inch

Party politics are ruining our province

im not happy with doug ford people are angry wth him he lost didnt nothing bonnie crombie would have wonn people should have trust her not him

It feels like my right to representative governance is being violated with this electoral system.  In my mind, it feels like a breach of my charter rights. Over 57% of citizens in Ontario do not want the government that is now representing them.

I can't stand the greedy, selfish, nasty, stupid, mean Doug Ford.

All the reasons outlined in this letter. We need to stop splitting and work together.

We need to start moving in the right direction.

Cooperation is the only way we will overcome these bleak times

Because our elected officials can't seem to find their asses with both hands when it comes to overhauling our outdated, extremely biased, and downright undemocratic electoral system. You want to set yourself apart from other candidates and parties? Quit talking about proportional rep and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

It’s the only way we can defeat the conservatives

Sickened that NDP and Liberals would put party over people and province. Clearly they don't really care about getting Ford out, perhaps because they are privileged enough to not worry about privatization of healthcare.or education, etc...

Ford is corrupt

I am feed up with the conservatives at federal and provincial level. I still remember Mike Harris and Steven Harper.

"Because I am strongly committed to democratic values and social justice.

These are not Conservative ""firsts"", hence I have never,  or ever will, vote/ support a Conservative government. "

Ford is destroying our social and health services and low income/vulnerable people are paying the price.

Another 4 years of Doug’s rule means things are going to get worse! Voter apathy also needs to be addressed.

Tired of the vote splitting. Our FPTP electoral system doesn't work. The differences between the NDP, Green and Liberal parties are not great enough to risk the damage that will be done handing power over to the conservatives both provincially and Federally. We are serious about a Vote Strike campaign in our riding to convince the 3 parties to work together to beat the PCs in the upcoming Federal election. Would love to see the campaign go province/country wide, would love to work with Not One Seat to see it happen. Please feel free to reach out to discuss how we can collaborate.

I have voted strategically to try and achieve at the minimum a minority Conservative govt. I am a critical care ICU nurse and have see first hand the destruction of healthcare by the Liberal and Conservative govts. I am searching for a party that holds the Canadian value of universal healthcare as a priority

Tired of Ford. We need electoral reform now.

The Ford government has and will continue to demolish everything that makes Ontario a good province to live in. The Ford government makes Ontario unsafe for residents who are not wealthy. Most things wrong with our province are due to the choices Doug Ford has made, and will continue to make, for our provinces. By not working together to ensure that the PC party did not gain more seats, all other parties have, in my eyes, endorsed Doug Ford.

Matt Richter should have won this seat - the left split vote is irresponsible at this point

Support changes in how we vote and elect parties bc the PCs are harming us, and not helping all Canadians. Those who are not PC are closer together on many issues, so we should have more power. People over party! The most vulnerable will suffer under a third Ford win and if a PC majority wins federally we are in big trouble as a country! There is no time to wait!

Enough is enough.

For fairness in the vote. For accountability of politicians. For accurate representation. For every voters voice to be heard. For a stable and just society. For a modern and updated electoral system. For a governance that is more successful and more keeping with the times.

Sick of this shit.

Tired of Ford.

Want other than a conservative government

The system does not benefit working people. Doug Ford is on the side of developers and his donors. He is the opposite of the kind of leader I would like to see at the helm.

This is long over-due.  We led a rally-cry begging the candidates to do exactly this.  Fell on deaf ears.

I agree. This is ridiculous. The majority of Ontarians did not choose Doug Ford (again), yet we are saddled with a “majority” government that will continue to erode the institutions and values that truly make Ontario great.

As a historian, I am aware of the power of popular, progressive fronts.  I am frustrated and disappointed by the leaders of the NDP, Liberals and Greens putting party politics before the well being of the people of Ontario.

Because Ford didn’t have to have another majority government and I did my part to try to stop that, but party leaders did not. Shameful.

Doug Ford is dangerous, selfish, and incompetent. He has consistently shown interest in promoting wealth and impunity for the wealthiest of us. Meanwhile, he has been defunding healthcare and education to keep up uninformed and distracted, and deliberately aroused public fear and conflict to keep us divided. Ontario, Canada, and the world at large are at a crucial moment for the next century, as far-right influence and global temperatures rise, and quality of living and social supports fall. Doug Ford will fail us. He has countless times already. It is the responsibility of those who oppose him to work together.

I want the political system to be more independent of the us

Agree with cooperation to keep PCs out of power. Very worried about Green Belt, Healthcare, Univ funding.

A concerned young person who's actively involved in my community, but still fears the threats of climate change, unemployment, housing security, and the lack of political will to address these issues.

For years now, I have been voting strategically.  I am tired of the progressive vote being split and ending up with a conservative government when they don't have the majority of the vote.   Since we do not have a proportional representation voting system, the only other way to put an end to the destruction being caused by the conservatives is for the progressives to unite to defeat the them.

We need actual progressive policies, accessible affordable housing, increase in OW/ODSP and politicians willing to challenge corporate interests to act on things that tax paying constituents are demanding. What is happening right now is absolutely fucking pathetic.

I want an end to the Conservative reign in Ontario.

The result of this election is devastating. The destructive consequences will be excruciating to live through and so much will be irreparable. Every effort should have been made with conviction to work together to do everything possible to ensure voter turnout and to foil the PC's re-election.

Anger at lack of cooperation between parties, because if they agree Doug Ford is so corrupt and bad for the province they would have put at least holding him to a minority above their egos

Sick of politicians not seeing that their route to power, and change, is through cooperation.

I hate Doug Ford

Wanting to show the leaders that they can and should work together

I don't want a conservative leadership at any level of government

I’m so disheartened that we have 4 more years of Doug Ford.

The PC government is terrible for health care, education, housing, and the environment. If progressive parties worked together, they could defeat the PC party, but they keep choosing to put party politics ahead of the good of Ontario and its people. We need change, and that requires you to work together for the common good.

I am a staunch advocate of electoral reform/proportional representation and I am, like everyone else, sick and tired of Conservative politicians, who apparently have little in common with actual human beings, being allowed to dismantle everything that makes life bearable for their own benefit. The results of the election don't represent the electorate at all and it's time for this stupid prank show to end. It's enough.

ABC

PR encourages voting for young voters.

My children and parents are suffering! School funding and health care funding is affecting lives now!

The destruction of health care, education, and affordable housing; and reckless spending benefiting only the wealthy (and Doug Fords friends)

I feel completely discouraged, angry and frustrated.  Oue electoral system is deeply flawed and gives an unfair advantage to the conservative party.  Vote splitting, apathy and FPTP are eating this province alive. I call on all progressive parties to collaborate and form a coalition to combat more effectively against the conservatives.

I fully believe that the left needs to unite NOW and find ways to work and govern cooperatively in order to fight the great dangers we face from right wing fascist and Christian nationalist ideology characterizing Conservatives today. Liberals are not “left”, they enjoy their privileges withIn the status quo too much, but all parties are failing us by not taking stronger stands to safeguard our democracy, our future on this planet, and the rights and needs of *ordinary people* and vulnerable peoples. We need major systemic changes, including to our electoral system. We need strong, brave, visionary leaders. When will they come?

I'm sick of the rational people's vote being split and losing again to ghe PC party. I'm scared for our country!

Doug Fraud

Utterly appalled at our system where Doug Ford gets in w/ a majority based on 18%-20% of eligible votes and the sheer stupidity of the ‘progressive’ parties' stubborn resistance to cooperating for an assured win. The only person who came prepared and had thoughtful and meaningful points during the debate was Michael from the Green party. Bonnie Crombie and Marit Stiles both needed acting coaches and PR strategists  - as does Mark Carney at the Federal level - and he also needs Hair, makeup and wardrobe. It is 2025 in an evil populist atmosphere. Shame on the NDP - shame on the liberals. And shame on the voting population.. all of us for not having found a way to succeed. I just spent several hours trying to find the vote split riding by riding and that information is not readily available. What I actually wanted to do was to take that information and continue my email chain to Carney, Crombie, Singh and Stiles to show them what a catastrophic disservice they have done us by encouraging a vote split and thereby withholding the means to a win from the voters of Ontario. Given the cavernous craters in Ford’s jello armour, this was their election to lose and they LOST it.. thank you for doing what you’ve done and what you’re doing but let’s be real. It has not worked. This is a good first step but what comes next has to be a lot clearer, more easily accessible and distributable.

I'm depressed and angry to see low voter turnout and yet another PC victory, when the PCs have failed Ontarians again and again. I'm also disappointed in the insufficiency of the effort from the Ontario Liberals, ONDP, and Greens.

This was the first time I understood the importance of voting strategically. My riding currently was predicted to be 99% chance of a PC majority, but enough people voted liberal to make that change. I am very critical of the liberal party. I did not appreciate the tax cut plan - to me it sounds false to promise tax cuts and supports, which is not how math works. You need to demonstrate your funding source. But at least the liberals were going to avoid the wasting of tax dollars on the ridiculous tunnel and spa projects, and support the access to family doctors that Ford's government has ruined. Hopefully resolve the ER closures that are absolutely unacceptable. I would appreciate it if these parties who have been advocating for this improvement would step up and make the changes they can, using as much of their combined power as possible. Especially as we are set to see more of these destructive and selfish acts of our premier who does not put the people of Ontario first, or even 30th.

My riding is Liberal. Has been for a while and I used to be. I preferred Marit Stiles but would have wasted a vote for NDP this time. I really thought people were more motivated. Very disappointed. I can't commit to help right now. But perhaps in the future. Thank you for all you did to provide the information.

Because of the opposition parties' lack of cooperation and insistence on running a full slate (including phantom and out-of-riding Liberal candidates in Simcoe County), we are going to lose even more of our province, our public health care and education. Once, just once before I die, I want to be able to vote for my preferred candidate instead of holding my nose and voting strategically.

This province and country need proportional representation. It is not going to happen, so citizens voters need to band together and agree to vote for one of the party's so that ABC (Anything But Conservative) is elected.

I am fed up with the behavior of the Liberals, NDP, and even the Greens. These election results were predicted way before the election was called. They gave the majority to the Conservatives, not me and voters like me.

The only way forward is via cooperation not letting egos get in the way

Exactly what I just read ! Thank you for all you do !

Libs, ndp can’t get over themselves.

18! 18 seats went to the PCs because the Liberals, NDP and Greens chose to fight each other rather than fights the PCs.

We need to protect Ontario from Doug Ford. I worked non stop this past month to encourage people to vote strategically. I’m angry at and disappointed in the party leaders for not working together because this was our chance and later is too late.

I strongly believe that our current voting system is broken and support any effort to rectify and change it.

I want change in Ontario. I am particularly disappointed in those that didn't vote the recent election. Doug Ford Ford NOT represent the toner generations and his antics will only make everything more unaffordable for Ontario residents and benefits his allies (privatization)

Our political system is a shambles and needs fundamental reform starting from a blank slate. In other words, we need political progress. The Conservatives, in comparison, are regressive.

Democracy

I am so sick and tired of Tyranny winning. Why, does the left become so weak at the face of it?????

The embarrassingly low voter turnout, and the vote splitting between Liberals and NDPs.

"The egregious waste of taxpayer's money by Ford 's conservatives must be stopped.

From early elections, early alcohol sales in stores, the destruction of Ontario place to the increasing hallway medicine in our hospitals, Ford is ruining our present and selling out our futures. "

We have to stop splitting the progressive vote, for the good of Ontario.

We have to get rid of Doug Ford! I don't think Ontario will survive another 4 years of his machinations (I want the Science Centre and Ontario Place back, not to mention health care).

Dysfunction

It's draining on everyone involved when we submit to being divided and conquered, and now drained of energy and funds. I appreciate the fighting sentiment, but on the flip side, egos can be very strong and stubborn against what can be a coalition. Let the best positioned candidate represent their riding and not be constrained by the party whip. Thank you.

I’m pissed

Progressive thinking parties need to cooperate until we get rid of first past the post voting.

Because Doug Ford and the PCs are destroying Ontario

"Everyone I know is angry and scared about what’s to come and the behaviour of the Liberal and NDP Ontario parties has been completely unacceptable. From NDP ousting a strong candidate for their more than justified views (only to adopt the same views a short time later) is completely unacceptable and immoral. It not only angers a large part of the base but alienates them. The way Liberals went after NDP votes instead of taking on centrist conservatives is despicable. We’re witnessing our so-called progressive parties shift more to the right and pander to conservatives or go on a smear campaign rather than work together to defeat corruption and greed. Thanks a lot for nothing and I hope you know this could have been prevented if you only would put aside your huge egos.

Signed an extremely pissed off Ontarian. "

My frustration with 18 years of trying to achieve what 80% of voters want: Proportional Representation.

Very disappointed with NDP specifically with Marit Stiles for reasons mentioned in your letter and how she handled Sarah Jama.

We’re fighting small battles and losing the war. Please! Please! Work together to get us out of this.

It is a tragedy that this election was called so quickly mid winter. Ford has done enough damage to this province and needs to be held back.

I am a big supporter of proportional voting but in the meantime, think cooperating to defeat Ford if it comes to that is a good strategy.

Frustration

for Canada's Democracy

I despise Doug Ford and what he has done to our province

I’m tired

For change

I’d like to be able to live my golden years in peace and be able to pay rent and buy food

"I’m furious with the results of this latest election.  How did we let this happen again?

In my riding, the collective leftist votes were higher than the PC(Mike Harris Jr who has done nothing for us) and still we have no voice.

I agonized over who to vote for to make my voice heard(my friends and family all chose to align our votes to have the most impact); I listened to Cooperate for Canada(they said NDP was the Unity vote).  NDP got 18%. Either we get electoral reform(how?), or a coalition of the left, or maybe the Liberals, NDP, and Greens need to dissolve their parties and form a new party with a new name. Good grief, do we have to keep losing to villains?

What is the point of civilization if not a healthy environment(Greenbelt!), health care, and education?

On top of this grief for our province I had to hear about Trump being awful to Zelenskyy today.  Shit day. "

I am tired of the progressive vote being split and handing the election to conservatives. Enough! As an educator, I cannot stand 4 more years of Ford policies.

Putting together a united front and forming a coalition is the ONLY way we can stand a chance against Ford, and consequently, the spread of Trumpism in Ontario. Infighting between the more left-wing parties is what got us here in the first place.

While I have mixed feelings regarding blaming the partisanship of the parties (largely because this is outcome of FPTP), there does need to be a more concerted effort among the opposing parties to not just present a united front, but to unify the people's voice

I am so disenchanted by the polarization & self-preservation.

A genuine fear for how our daily lives will be impacted with ford in office

"Everything you said in the letter.

Doug Ford is on the same team as Trump.

He's destroying public services and bankrupting the province to serve his rich backers . Ont Place, Green Belt, Wilmot, OSC, Bike Lanes, Did nothing during convoy occupation in Ottawa , and lied about that during his election propaganda. Supports Trump and made Starlink deal with guy who is dismantling the US govt. The risks to Ont because of Ford are tremendous."

Because doug ford won and the parties enabled it

I am very disappointed in the outcome of the election.

It’s clear we need electoral reform. The NDP, Libs & Greens must commit to end vote splitting in order to defeat the PCs next time. Otherwise they clearly are not in it for Ontarians

So frustrated at PCs winning another majority!

I am a supporter of electoral reform and can’t understand why proportional representation is not a universally accepted practice.

"While he didn't get the super majority he expected,  Doug Ford just got a 4-year mandate, which will allow him to complete the destruction of our public healthcare and education systems (including universities)  and all services for the vulnerable. He has found the winning formula to continue to rule the province. This formula consists of voter suppression tactics relying on the Libs, NDP, and Greens perennial fight for second place. These parties fight each other during election campaigns and retreat to shouting in the void once elections are over. They should cooperate during and in between campaigns. They are responsible for the lack of enthusiasm to vote in Ontario. Voter apathy is their responsibility. Ford is profiting from this. We don't know what his future plans are, but we know that:

He recently said that he wants to be premier.

He is pro Trump and Musk.

He adores his rich donors and will spend all our money to benefit them.

I believe we have to put pressure on the 3 leaders to help them see that Ontarians expect them to put our children’s future before their personal ambitions.

We need to start today. For our children’s sake, we must not wait another 4 years. "

I cannot afford the Conservative push for privatized health care.

The opposition failed Ontarians. We deserve better. We all saw this coming.

We don’t have democracy when the seats don’t represent the votes.

We need a better system to fairly represent voters.

agree with everything you have said

People's success over political party success. Canada first. People over politics.

I want to remain Canadian.

I am heartsick and bone tired. I look to a bleak future where the far right continues to gain ground until we live in a dystopia.

I’m tired of politicians doing the same thing over and over rather than thinking outside the box and making decisions for the constituents rather than their parties

I'm tired of the left vote being split, giving the right power.

Ontarians desperately need to push back against the destructive force of these conservative governments. Our democracy is on the line.

Disgusted with the Liberals and NDP

Mega spa

Education and health matter to me.

Canada desperately needs proportional representation at every level of government to ensure that legislatures accurately represent citizens and are able to hold governments to account. Canadians need better governance which will not happen as long as parties and the candidates choose winning for themselves rather than for those they represent.

Doug Ford is a corrupt bastard and I’m sick of our politicians being more focused on power than helping us.

frustrated over another 4 years of corruption and right wing agenda - pro-development Conservative government

Doug Ford is disaster for Ontario especially healthcare.

Because something needs to change and this letter nails it.

To get rid of Doug Ford

Matt Ritcher should have one! People need to wake up and vote strategically until we have electoral reform to keep the PCs out of power.

I'm signing because I'm tired of Doug Ford underfunding essential services while wasting public funds on vanity projects like ontario place. Additionally, I'm angry at the fact that he overreacted into municipal issues in Toronto. Pledging to destroy the cycling infrastructure that the city planned, built and paid for with city funds. Now cyclists in the city will be at risk of losing their lives because of the misinformation he's used to guide removing the cycling infrastructure.

We cannot afford to keep allowing the Conservatives to benefit from petty infighting and selfishness. If parties are willing to work together to defeat conservatives then they should also be willing to work together for a more progressive Ontario

Frustration in the broken FPTP voting system

I’m frightened and exhausted by Doug Ford’s cuts to health and education. I’m disgusted with his criminal hand off of green belt land and I don’t trust him to ‘protect’ us from the U.S. - he’s just a carbon copy of U.S. style and policy.

Frustration at the split of the progressive vote!

"In the absence of proportional representation or even ranked ballots strategic voting is an alternative valid strategy

Thanks for your well performed effort +"

I would like to see a Ranked Ballot also implemented. My first vote would be NDP, followed by the Greens, then the Libs.  I come from an NDP stronghold but have voted NDP Since I was 18.  The 3 parties need to make a coalition of some sort. A lot of people didn’t go vote either so this is not a win for Doug Ford either. But Ontario has lost again.

We desperately need electoral reform in this province - it might be the single most important issue, because continuing to allow parties to govern with less than majority support is corrosive to our society. I would like to see the opposition parties work together to get elected on a platform of implementing a specific new electoral strategy - not just a promise of a convention to discuss it - and, once elected, make passing that their first order of business.

Because I don’t want to watch self righteous conservatives strip people of rights, starve out kids and slash healthcare further for the sake of “lib tears” or a mega spa. This is childish and has real consequences for the rest of us. Wake up and do better or get out of the way.

"Bill 212 threatens my life and my commute.

Highway 413 threatens my environmental tax bill. "

You’re saying what I said in a shorter email to both big parties halfway through the campaign.  Their greed betrayed us.

Because both progressive parties failed us hard this election. Amateur hour by both of them.

"The conservatoves are well on their way to privatize healthcate, and they will go next to education.

They have closed essential services and life saving services and they are clearly only benefiting g a group of rich people who donate money to them so they continue dismantling and selling g Ontario to the highest bidder. They must be stopped  "

ABC

This election was ridiculous and we deserve better representation.

Not happy with Ford's broken promises

"I'm suffering in ways that would have been prevented or better treated had the medical system not been strained to its current sad state.

I don't drive. Even if I wanted to, it would take 1.6 years to be able to due to the way the current laws are set up, with mandatory waits where you have to have some mythical passenger that just doesn't exist in my case. Why do we enforce the same delays on grown adults as we do those fresh out of high school here?

And yet, alternatives like transit or bike lanes suffer. So I really don't know how Dougie expects me to get around. Which sucks because one of those conditions is fatigue caused by long-term overworking... outings would be easier if we as a province had better systems in place.

Oh, also, rent. It's killing me. I was barely covering rent even when not on disability. And then it went up a percentage beyond what rent control would allow because of exemptions Dougie put in place. At least it didn't go up a second year, but still....

If I wanted a cheaper place I'd give up having decent access to transit, which loops back to the other point.

I regret my past. Years ago I used to vote conservative due to heavy influencing from my family. I grew out of that but I still regret my mistakes. I want to correct them. I want to stop the suffering of everyone in this province. We need to all work together to stop this."

Tired of the partisan system where egos and power is the goal instead of collaborating and finding ways to work together to better serve the values that bring us together and support human baselines instead of greed and division.

I am SICK of how Doug Ford is destroying Ontario

I love harm reduction

"I’m sickened that we get 4 more years of Doug Ford. It took an Ipperwash to get rid of Mike Harris & I’m afraid it will take an Ipperwash to rid Ontario of Ford.

I’m also sickened by the NDP & Liberals. They don’t give a shit about us. It’s all about power. "

we cannot afford to continue to imitate the failures that democrats in the US are currently seeing the results of.

I cannot keep watching Ford dismantle our social systems like education and healthcare. I am tired.

Frustration that Doug Ford is enjoying a 3rd term with a majority

I'm tired of the Conservatives winning

I don't want to die in healthcare hell

"reasons for signing? to many to list here, please check out my facebook post i made detailing EVERYTHING!

But just in case, here is a copy of everything in that post;
[[REDACTED FOR LENGTH]]

Get your shit together. We can't live like this. The planet is burning and Doug is busy enriching himself. Work together to fire Ford.

I have voted for all three parties in different federal and provincial contexts, but don’t believe that the current situation serves anyone but Conservatives. I want to see Proportional Representation but we may need cooperation from you all to get there.

A future for my children. To make sure my daughter has rights over her own body. To make sure people have access to affordable housing and to GOOD healthcare

"I strongly support Proportional Representation and fairvote.ca

I hope the opposition parties can see the need for a one election alliance to bring in PR.

It is ridiculous that more than half the people don't bother to vote because it ""doesn't matter""!  I suggest strongly a tax credit for voters would work!

Holy fuck just merge parties already you fucking morons

Disillusioned with the current political environment of the province

NDP, Liberals and Greens now have such similar policies that all three should amalgamate into one party. Then the PC party would never win again!

Liberals, NDP and Green Party policies are now so similar that all three should amalgamate into one party. Then the PC party would never win again!

I believe the crisis situation demands an all hands on deck and a revolution on all fronts approach. I am skeptical that these parties will cooperate even with strongly worded letters. I proposal combining these efforts with a realization that these leaders and organizations lack the ability to lead and thus this moment requires a new united progressive platform and organization to rise to the challenge. I look forward to pushing from within and outside these parties for the same outcome

The Younger general needs change for them to stand a chance

Stop pretending there's insurmountable differences between you.

Doug Ford should not be in power with a majority again. The other parties need to work together.

I'm tired and scared of living in a world where conservatives continue to set us back and affect our lives.

I tried to convince our Green, Liberal and NDP candidates in our provincial rural riding to chat, to discuss how to possibly work together to defeat our long-time rural PC MPP. Here, in LFK, the Liberal, Rob Rainer, and Green, Marlene Spruyt, did have a good talk. The NDP candidate, John McRae, refused to chat with the others. He split the vote, again, and at one All-Candidates meeting I attended, did some mud-slinging at the others. I wrote to the local papers about Electoral Cooperation in the face of a greater evil— the loss of our Public Health care system, Ford planning to pave over protected wetlands and farmlands, etc. I am convinced that we have to put aside petty party differences and fight the ugly rise of the far right in Poilievre.

I am devastated that my riding for the first time in recent history turned from NDP to PC. This is especially crushing given the fact we had Kojo Damptey as our NDP candidate.

Anger and fear about a third Fird/PC majority.

The gist: Doug Ford and his conservative government have been, and are planning on creating more irreparable damage to many major aspects of Ontario's society and Ontario's water, land, air, animals, and biodiversity. He is a proven liar to the people, including Indigenous peoples of Ontario. It is outrageous, undemocratic, suspicious and detrimental that Ford has won three consecutive majority conservative governments in Ontario. Ford should have been fired by now for his unprofessional conduct being Premier of Ontario now for seven years.

I believe we need to have as many progressives as possible work together to offset the rising far right.

To defeat Poilievre in upcoming federal election

"Fear of right wing governments becoming autocratic oligarchies.

Too easy for them to do that when a minority of votes gives them a majority of seats."

Ford is a criminal and destroying Ontario with no intelligent or strateguc push back from opposition parties.

Concerned about healthcare, environment, and First Nations rights being violated yet again under Ford.

Extremely disappointed in the election results and that opposing parties didn't get together to get rid of Ford.  The other party leaders had no chance of winning and should have done what is best for the people of Ontario as they claimed in their ads.

Tired for Ford and his deceptions, policies that don't benefit ontarians.

Defeat Doug!

The Ford government stands for everything my values & principles disdain: it is  undemocratic, authoritarian, unhumanitarian & environmentally distructuve...need I say more!

Doug Ford . Also it just makes sense !

"I'm tired of Doug Ford putting his own interests before Ontarians and using his power to help his friends instead of the province. I'm tired of a lack of recognition of the real problems people in Ontario are facing when it comes to health care, education, housing, the cost of living, and more. I'm angered by all the money that was spent on individually bribing people in Ontario instead of spending that money on services that we need. And I'm frustrated that less than half of people in Ontario didn't vote because they felt that Ford was an inevitably, which is part of what made him inevitable.

I need the other party leaders to step up, because knowing we have more years of Ford ahead, with a chance of Polievre in our future, along with the current political climate globally, is disheartening. This is no longer about winning seats, this is about making sure our province and country is able to stand up to extreme right wing politics, Nazis, transphobia, xenophobia, etc, rather than following other countries down that path."

I’m a teacher and have watched while our system is being dismantled under Ford’s watch. Our kids deserve better.

I support Cooperate for Canada and know that cooperation will be needed in the federal election!  Thanks for your great work!.,

I hate Doug Ford. I hate that voting isn’t mandatory

Sick of these self-serving and uninspiring parties on the so-called “left.” We need multi party cooperation towards electoral reform for proportional representation YESTERDAY

I want Ford out of office. Maybe even out of Canada.

Your letter says it all.  Ford denigrates our collective responsibility, games us and gets away with it.

Lost by 167 votes. NDP candidate dropped out but didn’t get us over the finish

If we don't join up the left then we guarantee a conservative government.

We cannot sustain good life in Ontario under Doug ford

Doug Ford has wasted billions of our tax dollars, green belt scandal, Ontario Place redevelopment, moving the Ontario Science centre, ripping up green contracts, ripping out bike lanes, wreaking havoc on healthcare and education, etc

We need to get over first past the post

I agree with the comments in the letter.

It's time to stop splitting the vote! We don't want the Conservative Party to rule the Province with a majority in Parliament when they got 19.5% of votes from eligible voters.

Parry Sound Muskoka was the perfect opportunity to vote strategically and oust the incumbent Conservative. The Liberal & NDP candidates did not stand a chance and this was the perfect opportunity to have worked collaboratively. Hoping for better next time.

Doug Ford..

"The frustration in this election is at the level of pain for me and so many who worked to change the outcome.

This hard hitting message must reach all levels of electoral politics. I will contribute to a full page in the Globe. Please. "

Anything but the pc’s please

We must defeat the cons.

I am 19 years old and I have watched the real-time effects of Doug Ford on my life and future and I am furious. The provincial debate was a disgrace and the call by Crombie for NDP voters to vote liberal was embarrassingly selfish - it showed Ontarians that you are more concerned with your party status than ousting Ford. If you truly cared, you would unite with each other. I voted for the first time, encouraged others to vote, and followed this election carefully and I am feeling extremely discouraged about my future and the future of all Ontarians. You should be ashamed, and you should unite and plan together immediately. Currently, I am more angry with your leadership than Ford’s, and that’s saying something.

"I sent an email out to 175 of my friends and people I thought would/could talk to their friends and family - about my idea for using snap election as an opportunity to vote (in the absence of what you were suggesting, and I had hoped for, but didn’t think it was going to happen ) in such a way as to result in coalition government.

I was out of the country on February 27th and voted by mail in advance of leaving and did  vote for our green candidate - I have worked for NDP candidates in the past but most recently liberal… and was extremely disappointed in the last election - as I watched 28 outstanding liberal candidates I’ll get defeated as a result of NDP vote splitting - the liberal candidate was incredibly qualified and competent - but got jerked around by the liberal party and couldn’t even get his nomination confirmed by them in a timely fashion - though he had quit his job with a diplomatic core and move back to Peterborough a year and a half in advance to run a campaign.  The NDP didn’t even have a candidate until the very end of the campaign. And then spread a bunch of misinformation around…

So I decided this time I would vote for the green candidate and suggested to others that they do the same in the absence of a strategic plan - I suggested to those writings where they had a terrific NDP or Liberal representative that they reelect them - to preserve those 44-ish seats … otherwise unless the green candidate was a total right off they should vote green… and ideally we would pick up another 30 to 40-ish seats and not end up with another PC majority….

On the 27th I followed the election on my phone via  Wi-Fi - and was very disappointed, once again, in the result.

I would be very interested in learning more about your ideas and organization. I have been very environmentally and politically active in Peterborough and the Kawarthas  - and I’m tired of watching my tax dollars being wasted by a majority government that is incompetent and corrupt.

I want a government that will confront the climate crisis and get us off  fossil fuels by switching to solar and wind energies (not nuclear),, that will restore our public education system and will improve health care.

I fear Poilièvre will dismantle everything Canada stands for.

9% of eligible voters gave our Buck-a-beer preeemier 100% of the power

We need to do more the encourage voter activity. The sheer number of people who don't have the energy to get into politics fights against the amount of propaganda that the right puts out.

so disappointed that it's all about getting the most power instead of what's best for Ontarions. Liberals and NDPs work together. We can't afford 4 more years of Ford wasting our tax dollars.

Support the cause

Under our crazy first past the post voting system, the PC's will rule forever!

D'ugh is destroying Toronto and Ontario. He has no conscience, no care for the environment or the impact of his choices... and frankly, I view him as a criminal who commits the crime and apologizes later with zero consequence. How was he re-elected with all that he has done??? This letter explains it in part. Thank you for writing it and sharing it so that I can add my name.

The current situation is ridiculous and will put the PC party in power for decades.

Must defeat the PC at any cost

Our current government doesn’t reflect the votes of the population.  Ford needs to get out now.

I'm mad as hell that after repeatedly writing to the Greens (and once to the NDP) to drop their candidate in my Electoral District, in favour of the unity candidate (a decent Liberal) who had a very good chance of winning, they declined. I am thinking of revoking my membership in the Green Party, and I will be starting a letter-writing campaign to the Greens to get them to work with other progressive parties to defeat the Conservatives federally.

Trumpism is ooozing into our politics. The good old boys is no longer sustainable if we want this planet to survive.

Losing to PCs is destroying our province.

The corrupt Ford government is decimating our province and the other parties are allowing the vote to be split. I’m an NDP leaning voter at heart, but in my riding I voted Liberal as the NDP had zero chance to unseat Stan Cho. He won by just over 500 votes, while the NDP candidate who wasn’t even named on signs got just over 1500 votes! If the vote wasn’t split in Willowdale, that would have meant one less Conservative MPP! If the votes weren’t split all across Ontario Ford would not have another majority government given to the minority of voters! We need to stop splitting the vote and then agree on electoral reform to get better proportional representation in government.

i'm tired of the competition.. it only divides us... work together or i vote independent

need progressives to defeat Ford

Anguish that there was no opposition party cooperation on running best the candidates to defeat Ford’s Conservatives.

Believe that political parties should coalitions or be strategic when poor policy/policies are presented by any current government/in power

Horrified that Ontario will again be governed by a party with only 40+% support while Ford ignores the actual majority of Ontarians, and their priorities.

I believe health care is going to end up like the U.S. if privatization continues with Doug Ford leading the way. Selling off Ontario, one acre at a time, the protection of our wildlife and the greenbelts will no longer exist under Doug Fords wing. We need change to make sure money goes to where it belongs instead of in the pockets of Doug Fords friends and contractors that will put money in his pocket.

Do not want PC government

I am an "anyone but Ford" person.  The man is corrupt.  He is also an idiot, spewing nonsense about a tunnel under the 401.  We need leaders who care about ordinary people, not just developers and manufacturers.

Centre left and progressives need to come together - the perfect is the enemy of the good, especially in the face of the last 7 years of majority governments that have not benefitted the vast majority of the province.

Ford will continue to do serious damage to the province wasting money on tunnels instead of fixing our health care and education system. He cannot be trusted. He flew straight to Florida after winning an election that would not have counted if there was the need for a quorum.  He's talking about increasing MPP's pay when we are facing serious economic uncertainty thanks to the President of the United States and his insanity. The opposition parties need to force him to focus on the important issues no matter how much they dislike each other. The future of the province depends on it.

Sick of doug

I'm tied of vote-splitting and the FPTP system handing right-wing governments the ability to continue running all over our education and healthcare systems.

Doug Ford has been a ruination for Ontario.  I am deeply disappointed that he was returned with a majority.

I am worried about democracy and Canada in the current international environment, and how it will cause needless suffering for millions. We need parties to cooperate to improve democracy and rally around electoral reform!

Frustration with Conservative government trying to destroy the environment, kill our health care system, destroy public school education.

Makes sense

Too many left leaning parties. Prefer voting reform.

We need to build support for strategic cooperation next time.  I think key to this is convincing donors to donate to unity candidates and withhold funds and support from the provincial party or campaigns that will split the vote in an unhelpful way. That and directing volunteers and donations to unity candidates can make a real difference.  We've learned from this campaign, let's keep growing our influence.

Don't like to see Ontario problems getting worse under conservative govt

Our voting system must  change....we have a former drug supplier/dealer (allege-I don't want to be sued) heading our great province. It got only 19.3% of the people that voted...shameful.

I volunteer with Hamilton 350 around the climate crisis but since the last election, I've been thinking that the best way to support environmental issues in Ontario would be to broaden our mandate and start a coalition to get rid of Doug Ford. Guess what? It's already started!

I know strategic voting by individuals has never worked. Until the three progressive parties cooperate and choose the most likely electable candidate the Progressive Conservatives will remain in power. Period.

"I'm so angry that Ford won such a huge majority.  Most people in ontario support a more progressive agenda that protects heath care, education etc.  I'm sorry Ford, I don't care about booze being offered in Costco, seriously, what a waste of our tax  money.  And, the beer store is the only place I know of that recycles and I heard that some beer stores are closing.

My vote didn't matter at all.  And, I'm new to the idea of voting straegically.  I wish the parties would work together and stop splitting our progressive vote.   NDP Liberals, work together, the greens are ready to work with you.  please stop this guy next time, let's hope he doesn't mess things up further.  "

I am appalled at the way Doug Ford has managed this province, cut programs and benefits and is a self serving ass hole, not the least bit interested in the welfare of anyone not his friend. we must want and need better for everyones future,

Your letter states my sentiments exactly! We need to change our electoral system. We need people to get involved in our democracy by believing that they matter!

To help efforts to oust PCs and to establish fairer proportional voting practices.

Hate Doug Ford and what he’s doing to Ontario, worse, Toronto

Fully agree with your statement.

Because I’m absolutely fucking furious that the Liberals and NDP didn’t collaborate to take down filthy, corrupt Ford! FOOLS!

Sick of voting strategically and not being able to vote my conscience, and so, so, bloody sick of my vote going down a black hole. I will never stop voting, because it's the responsibility of every citizen privileged to live in a democracy to vote, and you can't complain about government if you don't vote; however, I understand how this experience of the vote going down a black hole could discourage other voters from voting. I don't understand how my riding could reelect a scandal-ridden MPP such as our longtime PC MPP, but they did it, like brain-dead zombies. You have no idea how demoralizing or infuriating it is to live in a riding like this, and thanks to the other parties' complete failure to put Ontarians before party, we cannot move from where we are due to the extreme affordability crisis exacerbated by Doug Ford's neoliberal policies. Oh, and I'm a permanently disabled person who relies on ODSP for survival; a political party who really cared about the people struggling the most would get over themselves and put those people first--it seems all you care about is getting Toronto voters to come out for you, and getting the rest of Ontario to pay for the bounty you promised Toronto, just like Doug Ford. Liberals and NDP, I understand why voters didn't come out for you: you offered more of the same neoliberalism that leaves everyone but the wealthy behind. You want to lead, you need to show us you're serious by putting us first and offering real change.

My reasons are in the letter.

Want Doug Ford out. Want electoral reform for better representation of the people.

It  did not matter who I voted for in the last election, Ford was going to win. Had  the NDP and the Liberals cooperated in Willowdale, the Liberals would have defeated the Conservatives. Why did I bother voting?

Ontario needs an electoral change to better support healthcare, education and climate change resilience.

Want electoral reform

I agree with everything the letter said. I know people who say they "vote with their heart". Under the present system,  this is often a wasted vote. One day, maybe it will make sense.

I feel passionately about our right, privilege and civic duty to vote, especially in a  world where autocracy is on the rise.

I want to make Canada great again!

Just stop the conservative nonsense already!

All left of centre parties need to organize together to defeat the PCs

Ford is destroying Ontario while lining his own pockets. It needs to stop.

I hate that the left are constantly splitting the vote - voting for 3 parties vs 1 on the conservative side

We’ve got to make a change. Our entire economy is going downhill and people are suffering.

We need Ford out; politicians like him make me worry we are becoming more and more like the States, with leaders who are corrupt, deceitful, working in the interest of big business and greed and will put the destruction of our environment on the fast track; politicians who lack compassion, intelligence, strength and integrity in character.

our current election results do not fairly represent the people who vote

Fed up with not being represented in power

Resolving issues more important than partisanshiip

To assist in making all votes count.

atrocious that Ford won the vote as premier when he is so blatantly pro his development cronies and against the people of the province (despite his rhetoric).

You said it well! I’m exhausted by this horrendous government. They could rule in perpetuity without a progressive rethink.

Don't like the Conservative's policies and practices

Anyone but Ford/PP !!

Even the Greens sounded alot like the other 2 this time... so my efforts have to be redirected... thank you

I felt the opposition parties, if not forming a collective province-wide anti-Ford alliance, could have done so in at least several ridings where an anti-Conservative vote could have made a difference.

Frustrated that Ford is in again because we don't have proportional representation. He can do huge damage in 4 years. Same problem at the federal level.

More than tired of the status quo in this world

Get rid of Ford!

We need cooperation and better strategy.

I really don’t see that much political space between the liberals and NDP.  Merge!

Keep Conservatives out of power— they serve only the rich and the status quo.

Doug Ford is corrupt and is ruining Ontario.

The Liberals failed miserably at making Doug Ford's unethical practices known. There was so much to say about his favours for developers, shady practices, and dismantling of our healthcare system and they didn't say what they should have to make the people of Ontario aware. They also chose some really weak MPP representatives in certain areas.

I have been fighting for a fair voting system for years.

Encouraging cooperation between non-conservative parties is best for all Ontarians.

Essentially to stop the Conservatives from ever gaining more power

NDP and LIBS most join forces.

We have so many crises happening at once.  The present electoral system is unfair and doesn't motivate political parties to cooperate for the public good and our environment.

A united front is paramount in creating incremental, substantial change.

To defeat Doug Ford

This is the best option for better government leading to fair representative voting. I am especially concerned about the damage and losses due to current dictatorial government in environment and social protections, safeguards, government assistance.

"Fear of oligarchy.

Ford will stand up to Trump the way Trump stands up to Putin."

We need to run First Past the Post candidates to end this splitting votes forever.

The problems of the world are too significant to play games. We must work together or things will get progressively worse for everyone execpt the people at the very top.

Desperate times (as these are, when human survival is at stake) call for courage and integrity, including compromise with those who are like-minded-enough in order to defeat the ill-intent of the owning class.

I am enraged that even though over 50% of voters are centre left, we are stuck with four more yrs of a conservative govt primarily because of the inability of Crombie and Stiles to work together for the betterment of Ontarians. Both should be forced to step down and replaced with leaders who know what their priorities should be.

I don't want the vote to be split

I have dedicated countless hours to the ONDP and municipal politics.  How many more hours do I need to spend in my lifetime to ever see this manifest into my vote meaning something?  Other than a voice of opposition that is ineffectual against right wing bullies and nepo Conservative babies?

annoyed by NDP and Liberal being morons.

"This cooperative, strategic approach is always the best whenever there are multiple progressive parties competing against one or two conservative parties.

It should be applied at all levels -- federal, provincial, and municipal -- and across the nation."

Sick of Doug Ford's corruption.

Progressive policy-based measures are called for by the Liberal, NDP and Green parties to counteract the right seeking to sell off our parks and crown land, eviscerate health care and let public schools wither. Party loyalties are no longer valid.

I agree with the concept but am unable to volunteer at this time

I agree with everything in the open letter. Thanks for writing it! I will be sharing it with friends.0

highway 413

I have been voting "strategically" for many years, frustrated that the Liberals and NDP have fought harder against one another than against the Conservatives. It's time for the parties to act in the best interests of the province and the many voters who are opposed to more Conservative majorities.
